Neil Armstrong-Diary Entry-

“That’s one small step for man… one giant leap for mankind”I announced.Happy to see the moon,i stepped out of the rocket(The Eagle)and i felt like i had already achieved my goal. With overcoming my achievement,my big space boot was the only thing on the moon.Proud to represent the USA,i got the United States Of America flag and planted it on the Moon’s surface.Even though I felt proud to be the only person to put the flag down,I felt as if something terrible might happen. However, it didn’t and it had meant that the end of the space race was complete and the victory for the USA.

How it came to this, Let me explain…

16th July 1969-13:32pm

“5,4,3,2!”boomed through my ears.I quickly reminded myself what was in my bag it included;space helmet, space drink(with a space straw),clock and my gas operators therefore i wouldn’t be able to smell the strange odors. BOOM!the speed went to 60MPH,the windows were shaking and the seats were rattling.”All the best!”pronounced Mission control, who were on the other side of the radio. Our Mission, the moon, was waiting to be found;winning for USA was the only thing we could think of.

Leaving Earth, our terrain was unbelievable because i stared mesmerized at the silhouette of the rocket on the Moon.It was FABULICIOUS!The atmosphere was mind-bubbling,mouth-watering and was like seeing a nice hot chocolate fudge cake, which hadn’t been eaten.Feeling Dizzy, the Eagle, also known as the rocket, went around the Earth 1 and a 1/2 times(which made me feel nautious)

16th July 1969-16:16 pm

Finally,we set off towards the moon.”Were back in the game!” my partner announced.Buzz Aldrin.a very good friend, was incredibly fantastic for his scientific knowledge.Anyway enough about him, I sat comfortably in my seat interested in many other things including:sight-seeing stars and the scorching sun.”Were nearly there my friend,” as he would sarcastically say.

July 19th 1969-17:21

Thankfully, the life-time experience had nearly come to end.Happiness and joy filled the rocket as we felt like we were winning magnificently.Smiling, happily,we entered the moon’s orbit so that we could safely land correctly.

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for the letter. I’m writing to you to you to explain what I do in the other 11 months of the year.(not a 11 month holiday you know)

As soon as I finish delivering presents and get home I get something to eat,  feed my cat and dog, next I get a well earned long dreamless sleep and When I wake up I get a lovely warm  bubble bath(with a rubber ducky)

At  summer I plant a garden , take my pet to the pound to be taken care of, go on a holiday of paradise. One year my holiday, apart from the bills, was great. This year I might go to…. Egypt!!!! AHHH the scorching hot sun up against my freezing body! This year it will be great unlike last years bloomin’ bills and freezing weather.

By the time the festive season comes I get a new suit get my cat and dog from the pound, make the toys(this year I need 153), weed the garden plus my sack gets heavier every year.

Hope I have answered your question.

but during the summer months its much more exciting. I head off to a hot, scorching county where I just relax  and forget everything. its perfect I just love it. while I am having the time of my life the elves is peprearing my slay for next Christmas.

As Christmas approaches, I come back from the hot scorching sun and I have to read all of the Christmas list and try and give the children want.  then I give the list to my helpful elves to work on and build things. when all of that is done its ready to put on my shinny slay for Christmas eve.

in conclusion, I do lots of things during the busy year. I hope this answered all of your question.

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter, I am writing to you to explain that I am a very busy person and I am always replying to everybody’s letters.

Straight after Christmas I finish delivering all of your wonderful presents then I land my beautiful heavy sleigh and push it into my secret garage where I keep all of my reindeers. After that, I will start up my fire to keep myself warm.(And so I don’t turn into an ice cube.) I ask my lovely wife Mrs Clause to make me a cup of tea. And then I will book a holiday to Hawaii (which takes hours to book because the flight people don’t even listen!)Next I pack my bags I take my dog Fluffy, but then I sleep for two whole entire hours and then I travel on the aeroplane.

During, the summer months I get my lucky magical bowling ball, Then I travel to LA and enter a bowling championship league with my friends. And all the time I keep getting strikes. It was the final round I got 9/10 skittles down I was so anxious to see who won. All of a sudden, the announcement shouted from lane 12 the champion is Saint Nicholas! (That’s me!) After that, I ate slept partied and then I repeat until half of the summer season is over.

As Christmas approaches I will travel all the way back to the North Pole, wake up all of the hard working elves and start making presents. Then I read all of the mail and reply to them all. After that, I feed Rudolf and all of his friends. Then I paint my sleigh. And then I set off.

I hope you can reply and see how hard I work.

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter, I am writing to you to explain what I do throughout the year. which will hopefully answer your question.

Straight after Christmas I spend all of January in Mexico ( which is really hot! ) Every day I have a swim, sunbathe by the sea and ol’ Jonathon comes and gives me a Pepsi when I’m thirsty he is a good mate. When I feel I have a tan I get a snack. After a lovely day I go and relax in my deluxe hotel and go to sleep. It really is my favourite monthDuring the summer I head to America! I always get invited to the bowling competition and guess what Sammy, I win every time (YIPEE!) Also, I go to the children’s hospital and bring them gifts they really do deserve them. On a night I sing on the karaoke I know you might think it is a bit strange Santa on the karaoke but it’s true and fun!

As Christmas approaches letters get delivered and of Corse I have to read them all in my time ( humbug ). Then I take the letters to the elves so they know what to make! Now, I do lots of paperwork going through peoples folders either stamping the naughty or nice. Next, I polish my boots, hang my red suit up and fill the slay all ready for Christmas eve! In conclusion, Sammy as you can see I do quite a lot throughout the year. I hope I answered your question and have a lovely Christmas.

Yours Faithfully,

Santa Claus

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter. I am writing to you to hopefully answer your questions that you asked.

First of all, straight after Christmas, I have an exhausting time cleaning and washing the reindeer, I stamp out all the snow out of my winter boots, I have a nice sit-down near the fire to keep warm, and then I clean my sleigh and learn some new languages I don’t already know. After all of this, I have a lovely sleep until the Summer months. It’s great!

In the Summer months, I give my animals and transportation another quick rub. (Great.) Furthermore, after that, I go on a nice relaxing holiday. Somewhere like Egypt, France, New York and even Los Angeles. I love Los Angeles because I can relax on a lounge, sipping at a glass of wine and live in the life of luxury. Mostly, in the evening, I would go to a party whenever there is a one. I just can’t miss out on the parties! No way! The best part of the year IS Summer!

Additionally, when the Festive Season approaches, I would arrive home after a long Summer break, clean the herd, wash my vehicle and also pull out the weeds in the back garden. Moreover, I have A LOT of post. From people all over the globe. Therefore, I need to read over 1 million letters. What a great way to start my first day back home. My house is complete chaos! Whilst I read the letters, I find that quite a lot of the items are RIDICULOUS! How could you ever manage to put a pony in my sleigh? It would be too claustrophobic as it already is. How I love Christmas time. In addition, I feed the reindeer again, wash my sled and get it loaded up high with the presents I have in stock. Then I’m on my way!

In conclusion, I do quite a lot during the year. I don’t just laze around all year, as you have found out. I do a lot during the Holidays! I hope I answered your questions.

Love from,

                     Santa X
