Father Christmas,

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for my letter, I am writing to you to explain to you What I do straight after the Happy Holidays? What I do during the summer time? And What I do when Christmas comes?Right here I go then.

Well, straight after Christmas, I always need to help Mrs Claus to get ready for her Newyears eve party.Next, I would have to get ready to go back out and get food shopping for next year (because you know how much food I need) Usually, I would go through all of my thank you letters and then have to reply to them all. However, before all, of that, I have to put away my travelling gear( before my beautiful wife)finds it because she finds all of my important stuff lying all around. Also, I have to give my dogs food because when they look at me in dismay I have to immediately give them food.

When all of the cold snow goes away, I normally want to decide where I want to go for summer therefore instead of me going to France seeing as I went there last year and I didn’t like it that much so that made me decide to go to the lovely and scorching place( which is Spain) As soon as I arrived,I instantly felt this blazing heat going onto me it was like I was getting warmed up by a giant heater ( which was on FULL BLAST) While, I was there I got to try different types of Spanish food and secretly got to take lessons on how to speak Spanish. I always don’t realise the point on going on holiday knowing that someone in this hot country knows that I am FATHER CHRISTMAS!

Finally, your last question has arrived on What I do when Christmas comes. Well I would just do the usual things like receiving over 1000 Christmas lists from people nearly every day, Refreshing the long sleigh AGAIN!!,Getting the Reindeers ready and fit and of course trying not to forget FLY PAINT ( which is very important) for the reindeer’s hooves that cost nearly over a thousand pounds.(Mrs Claus isn’t going to be happy) Finally, I have to load all of the Christmas Presents onto the Sleigh( Every year I think I lose over 10 tonnes) I hope that I could be a little bit skinny by 2018!

In Conclusion, I hope you can see how busy I am and how every year I just have over a million things to do! THANK YOU for asking me these questions. It took me a while to remember all of these things that I do.

                                                                                                                             Yours Faithfully,

Santa Claus ( Your favourite friend at Christmas)

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for the letter. I’m writing to you to you to explain what I do in the other 11 months of the year.(not a 11 month holiday you know)

As soon as I finish delivering presents and get home I get something to eat,  feed my cat and dog, next I get a well earned long dreamless sleep and When I wake up I get a lovely warm  bubble bath(with a rubber ducky)

At  summer I plant a garden , take my pet to the pound to be taken care of, go on a holiday of paradise. One year my holiday, apart from the bills, was great. This year I might go to…. Egypt!!!! AHHH the scorching hot sun up against my freezing body! This year it will be great unlike last years bloomin’ bills and freezing weather.

By the time the festive season comes I get a new suit get my cat and dog from the pound, make the toys(this year I need 153), weed the garden plus my sack gets heavier every year.

Hope I have answered your question.

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter, I am writing to you to explain that I am a very busy person and I am always replying to everybody’s letters.

Straight after Christmas I finish delivering all of your wonderful presents then I land my beautiful heavy sleigh and push it into my secret garage where I keep all of my reindeers. After that, I will start up my fire to keep myself warm.(And so I don’t turn into an ice cube.) I ask my lovely wife Mrs Clause to make me a cup of tea. And then I will book a holiday to Hawaii (which takes hours to book because the flight people don’t even listen!)Next I pack my bags I take my dog Fluffy, but then I sleep for two whole entire hours and then I travel on the aeroplane.

During, the summer months I get my lucky magical bowling ball, Then I travel to LA and enter a bowling championship league with my friends. And all the time I keep getting strikes. It was the final round I got 9/10 skittles down I was so anxious to see who won. All of a sudden, the announcement shouted from lane 12 the champion is Saint Nicholas! (That’s me!) After that, I ate slept partied and then I repeat until half of the summer season is over.

As Christmas approaches I will travel all the way back to the North Pole, wake up all of the hard working elves and start making presents. Then I read all of the mail and reply to them all. After that, I feed Rudolf and all of his friends. Then I paint my sleigh. And then I set off.

I hope you can reply and see how hard I work.

From Santa

PS Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Donkey’s point of view

Donkey nativity story

At last, I was woken up by Joseph who was shoving bags on to my back and finally picked up Mary and put her on to my back. After a while, we were off onto the path and accidently I stepped in some POO!!! I could nearly BELCH!!

After a long hard day we started too see Bethlehem and started to find an inn but the only answer we ever got was either no! or get out now! But finally somebody said to us” yes I have a stable come in now!!” We got into the stable which was pretty boring as nobody could say anything! all the sheep could say was baahhh!!!which wasn’t very good. Then a little boy popped out of Mary with a crown on I thought it was just a toy but it wasn’t it was a baby king of the world. After a while, 3 men came in carrying gifts they gave the gifts to the boy and started worshiping him.

Without warning, a man ran in carrying a sword the 3 men ran off while feeling scared Mary ran off with Jesus as well the man was king Herod he was only there to kill Jesus!Joseph picked up a bit of wood and started fighting with Herod even though I was feeling scared I kicked him out of the stable and he went running after the 3 men. after about 2 minutes Mary came back in with Jesus crying we did still have a good nights sleep but for some reason the next day we went to Egypt but I will never in my life forget how I saved the king of the world from that evil king Herod. But after my life in Egypt I had to return to Nazirith to start loading things on to my back and deliver but my life was never the same!

12 – 12 – 14

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter, I am writing to you to explain exactly what I do on those months that aren’t December.

Once, I have delivered all the children’s presents, and I have to say that is not easy, I, in a hurry, fly bumpily back home to the freezing yet comfortable North Pole. as I come flying down from the sky like an enormous meteor, all my hardworking elves greet me with loud cheers while they jump up and down with joy and happiness. Although, I love that they appreciate what I do, all I want to do is go and rest by the hot steamy, fire. Consequently, that is exactly what I do, but unfortunately, I don’t get much peace and quite though seeing as Mrs. Clause sits next to me and jabbers on about how ‘I eat too many cookies and mince pies.’ I stay at home and rest like this until March! When March comes around I know its time for me to get off my bottom and decide where I’m going to go for my summer holiday.

Each year I go somewhere different for my summer holiday, this year I have decided on New York! I chose early this time round. This year I went to Egypt and it was great! Before I could set off I had to disguise myself (I wore an afro wig and some very jazzy clothes.) Eventually, I was ready to go so I set off. Everything  was so different from things here in the North Pole and the people I met were so friendly. Plus, nobody recognised me as Santa at all! I must admit the food there was a bit strange, I couldn’t pronounce the names of most of it. It was nothing like I’d ever eaten before, there were no fries, burger or any KETCHUP! I need ketchup! But overall it was great!

When I finally return home the same thing happens to me every year, I can’t get through my front door because of all the Christmas letters that lie in a great big heap on the floor. To this, I have to climb through my chimney (I should get used to it at least! I always think to myself.) I make sure I read every single one of the letters writing down what I will need the elves to make as I go. Once, I have finally read all the letters, I set my elves off hard at work making the toys I will need. The elves then stop making things for themselves and quickly start making toys for children of the world. Meanwhile, I prepare myself and my reindeer for the big day. Amazingly, I don’t find doing all this very stressful, although it is hard. When the big day arrives I zoom out into the sky on my sleigh hearing the full of Christmas Spirit elves cheer as I go.

In conclusion, I hope I have explained what you wanted to know good enough. Goodbye until next year.

Love

The Nativity story – A Donkey’s point of view

Donkey3

I was awoken from my deep sleep with a tug on the thick rope thinking it was the middle of the day. NO, it was still night and I was wondering why joseph was carrying supplies and why Mary went on my back, WOW she was heavy, more heavy than before!

Suddenly, we set off and walked fore miles and miles and miles until we arrived. It was so busy and by the end all of the inn’s were full. But the last man said that he was full too but kindly offered Mary to stay in the barn in the back of the inn. eventually, the baby Jesus was born in a old barn and gods angles spread the word to 3 Shepard’s   and 3 wise men came to worship the baby and brought gifts but one wise man explained to Mary that king Herod wanted to kill the baby so as soon as the word was said Mary and joseph fled immediately. I was shocked to hear that king Herod wanted to kill a new born baby.

Mary and joseph left amiably until it was safe to come back to Nazareth!

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for your letter, I am writing to you to explain what I do throughout the year. which will hopefully answer your question.

Straight after Christmas I spend all of January in Mexico ( which is really hot! ) Every day I have a swim, sunbathe by the sea and ol’ Jonathon comes and gives me a Pepsi when I’m thirsty he is a good mate. When I feel I have a tan I get a snack. After a lovely day I go and relax in my deluxe hotel and go to sleep. It really is my favourite monthDuring the summer I head to America! I always get invited to the bowling competition and guess what Sammy, I win every time (YIPEE!) Also, I go to the children’s hospital and bring them gifts they really do deserve them. On a night I sing on the karaoke I know you might think it is a bit strange Santa on the karaoke but it’s true and fun!

As Christmas approaches letters get delivered and of Corse I have to read them all in my time ( humbug ). Then I take the letters to the elves so they know what to make! Now, I do lots of paperwork going through peoples folders either stamping the naughty or nice. Next, I polish my boots, hang my red suit up and fill the slay all ready for Christmas eve! In conclusion, Sammy as you can see I do quite a lot throughout the year. I hope I answered your question and have a lovely Christmas.

Yours Faithfully,

Santa Claus

Dear Sammy,

I am very thankful for your letter, I am writing back to explain about my years routine.

Straight after Christmas I would get home, feed my reindeers ,dog and my giant talking tuckey (A.K.A A turkey). Then I would make a warm, nice cup of hot chocolate. Quickly, I would jump into a bubble bath and relax however I would need to get ready to go to Greenland. Me and my team take part in an ice skating competition with me Bilbo and Galdouf.

During the summer months I go to Hawaii and hula dance with hawien horse and Spanish hippo. Also, I swim in the relaxing pool while drinking a fruit smoothie. next, I would go camping in Wales with my giant tukey named Natalie. It is quit cold there and my tent always blows away. Plus, the kids on the site push my air bed in on to the water and I always wake up in the lake . After that adventure, I rent a submarine and try to find the Atlantic city underwater with Hawien horse and my dog however we never find it.

As Christmas approaches, I would come home and read all my letters (and it’s not a piece of cake) and make all of your toys. It takes me forever to put them on my sleigh. Once that is all done, I buy a new suite and polish my sleigh.

In conclusion, Thank you for writing me a letter as you see my year is very exiting and full of adventures. I hope this will help you understand what I do every year.

Dear Sammy,

Thank you for the letter, I am writing to you to explain that straight after Christmas I have something to eat, go for a run, then get in the bath, then have something else to eat. After all of that, I get my pyjamas on, go to bed and do it all the next day.

During the summer months, I put sun cream on and sunbathe for an hour or two. But, sometimes I go to my friends house and have a party! Other times, I just sit in my pyjamas and watch television. After that, I just go to bed.

As Christmas approaches, I quickly get dressed and start making toys with my elves. We make the toys really special for the children! But, first I read the letters to see what people want for when the festive season comes.

In conclusion, I hope that you understand what I do know and that I don’t work all year. I hope that I have made it clear but if I haven’t write back to me next year.

Yours sincerely Santa Claus.

Dear Intersnack,

We are writing to you because we are learning about advertising and products. We would like you to come to our school and tell us about business, like the quality of the product, how much we need to sell it for. Furthermore we are a very local school so if you could make it that would please us. Also, if you are interested please read on.

First of all, we are Tanfield Primary in Mr Patterson’s year 5/6 class we are aged around 9 to 11 years old. We have been learning about creating our own adverts and would like to know how to advertise and the profit and prices. Another thing, we would like to know what makes a good enterprice.

We feel that a grand company like you could help us with our learning. Since you do make 3 million Hula Hoops every day, which is very impressive. Plus, you make 2.4 million packets of McCoy’s a day. Furthermore, you sell billions of products like Choc dip, Space raders, Nic nacks, Pretzels and lots more! We are so glad that you said “We are committed to the community because we are a school in you “Community”. So it would be amazing if you would help

Would you be available to help your community by visiting us or we visit you? Could you help us learn more about enterprice? First, could you explain how you produce so many crisps in one day? Also, we want to know how hard it is? Finally, all of our class want to know would you donate 100 of your crisps, which is only 0.004 % of 1 day so you could help our enterprice project.

We hope you respond and agree to help us.

Yours sincerely,

Tia Bailey (year5/6)

Dear Intersnack,

We are writing to you because we are a school in your area! We are learning about products and how to sell them too. Also, we have made our own adverts as a practise; however we feel that the best place to start is your company Intersnack. Don’t you want to help a local school?

We are Mr Patterson’s Y5 and 6 class, from the best school in the area! Our class is aged between 9-11 years. We have been learning about what makes a good enterprise. We have learned about things that are good about enterprises, but it doesn’t fully explore the whole advertising topic, and that is 1 reason we would like to visit you, or you visit us! Our Y5 and 6 class want to know how to successfully advertise a product, and how to make a reasonably good profit. Furthermore, we have been learning about the prices of products, how to make it, and making a really catchy slogan moreover a bright and colourful design. You know how to do this and you could explain it more clearly, and fully explore the topic, and that is why our class feel it would be great to start at your amazing company!!

We feel that your generous company Intersnack could really help us with our Christmas Fair project, and our learning. Our class feel that your company is the best ever! We were AMAZED to find out that you can produce 3 million packets f Hula Hoops everyday and over 1 billion packets in a year! Furthermore, you can make 400 thousand packets of salted peanuts AND 2.4 MILLION packets of McCoys crisps in just ONE day!!! WOW! It’s incredible that you can also make Choc Dips, Frisps, Pombears, Skips, Space Raiders, Pretzels and Roysters! We are pleased to say that you are “Committed to the Community.” We really hope you can help us. It’s great that you want us!

Would you be able to help your “community” and visit us? To help us with our own advertising topic and a successful enterprise? If that is too much trouble then maybe we could come to your great company in the “community.” First of all, it would be great if you could explain to our class how you increase your profit by so much? Moreover, can you tell us how you can produce 3 MILLION packets of crisps in just one DAY? It is positively incredible that you can! Finally, a school in your “community!” Would be willing to donate only 100 packets of crisps (which is only 0.004% of a days’ worth of crisps.) I would like this to happen because it would help us with our school fair project.

We are very excited to hear from your company,

Yours faithfully,

Tamzin McAdam (Representative of Y5 and 6.)

Dear Intersnack,

We are writing to you to tell you that we have been learning about adverts and advertising products. Furthermore, we would like to find out more by visiting you or you could come and visit us. Do you want to help a local school that is the best school in the world? Do you want to teach us about making money or making our own business? Then let us explain.

We are Tanfield Lea Community Primary School, Class year 5 and 6, and we are aged 9-11. Also, we have been learning about designing/making products. We hope to then figure out the prices and then come to a good enough profit.  Basically,  we want to know how to make a good enterprise like yourself .Don’t you think our local school and your amazing business should work together.

We feel that a generous and hardworking company like yourself   could really help our learning .First of all, according to your advert for your graduating scheme, 3,000,000 hula hoops are made every day, and in 21 years you have made 22 billion hula hoops. That’s AWESOME!!Also, we are aware that you have made over 2.4 million packets of McCoy’s  in just one day. WOW!! And there my favourite crisps aswell. We also heard that you are “committed to the community” and we thought that this would come in handy  because we are technically in your “community” therefore we would love it if you could come and help us because we need some help with a winning Enterprise for our Christmas fair.

Would you be available to help our community and visit us? To help us learn more about the enterprise? If not, we could maybe come to you. Firstly, would you be able to come to our amazing school( which is in your community) and show us how you make a good profit. Also, could you possibly explain how you produce so many crisps in one year? IT’S CRAZY!! As well as this, have you earned a lot of money because you have worked exceptionally hard?

We are keen to see your response.

Yours faithfully,

Hannah Benjamin (Year 5 and 6)
